Microsoft Paint Online: JS Paint

Microsoft Paint is the default graphics editor that has always come pre-installed in all versions of Windows and has therefore become one of the distinctive symbols of this operating system over time.

Apart from a few small graphic retouches, from Windows 95 to Windows Vista, Paint has always remained the same, while it is on Windows 7 that it has undergone a more than modest restyling of the graphic interface and an increase in functions without upsetting its usability, which in fact is still similar to those of previous versions.

But starting from Windows 10 Creators Update, Microsoft decided to modernize in an important way its default graphics editor introducing for the first time Paint 3D that compared to the classic Paint also allows you to draw in three-dimensional drawing by adding 3D shapes and figures to the drawing to color, move, resize at will.

Despite Paint 3D, the classic version of Paint still remained available on Windows 10 even in the most recent Fall Creators Update. Microsoft has announced that it will soon deprecate the classic Paint in favor of the more modern version, removing it as a pre-installed program in the operating system, but instead making it available for free download on the Windows Store as a third-party application.

If you want this can be considered as the beginning of a farewell to the old in favor of the new, but if you are not yet ready to abandon the classic version of Paint is good to know that from our site you can download for free portable Paint version (without installation):

The versions are Microsoft originals with an English language interface. If needed, the Microsoft Paint clone (Windows 95/98 version) is available as a web application named JSPaint at http://jspaint.ml/.
