ISSUE
When opening, replying, or forwarding some emails that include complex tables, both Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Mac stop responding. The same table contents will also cause Word to stop responding.
This issue started in Current Channel Version 2206 Build 15330.20196 and higher. It also occurs in current builds of Beta and Current Channel Preview.
STATUS: FIXED
Outlook for Microsoft 365 for Mac
The issue is fixed in Outlook for Mac build 16.64. It was released to Insiders on August 5, 2022 and will be released to Production on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Outlook for Microsoft 365
This issue is fixed in Current Channel Version 2207, Build 15427.20194.
To install the update from Outlook, select File > Office Account > Update Options > Update Now.
